THANK YOU FOR READING!! - THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR READING!!! I was really nervous posting this comic... I literally finished drawing this... TODAY.

Sorry if things weren't clearly explained! Please draw your own conclusions. I feel a little sad having to say goodbye to Madoka and Atsushi... I really got attached to them as I was drawing and scripting this little story. Their fates are truly up to readers.

THANK YOU AGAIN! I might be posting some extra illustrations or tidbits later on but THIS IS PRETTY MUCH IT!! THANKS FOR READING SWEETIE!!

I'm in love with this, sad it ended but hey better than be incomplete hm? Honestly, I got attached to both Madoka and Atsushi as I read on. They're so wonderfully scripted and drawn characters, thank you for sharing this is it was a pleasure reading this! </3 You're very welcome by the way!

I loved it so much
Damn perfect comic <3
Everything was perfect about it
The expressions, colours, story...
Everything was fantastic, I wished it was longer
But it was still really a great horror comic
Well done!

I definitely did not see this coming. The ending was twisted and unexpected, and I loved it. I had no idea I would like this sort of thing, it's generally not my style, yet here I am thinking 'well boo, over so soon? I could get addicted to this'. It says a lot about the artist and the method of delivery, that you managed to get me interested in something I wouldn't normally like. Not to mention that I've posted twice on one comic, which is pretty much unheard of for me.

I would love to see anything you might produce in the future, cause I am sure it'd be absolutely lovely. Very very good work!

woah, this was awesome.

Love how you used color. The paneling is really interesting and flowed well. The story was cute at first and became increasingly more ominous and the art matched the mood. An enjoyable read but I think I want to avoid eating sweets for a while.

Seriously I promised a full on review so rev up your gears bitches cuz here goes:
You really displayed a magnificent talent with the color here. A lot of the panels shifted with the color to adapt to a certain mood or element and it's brilliant beyond words. I'd found your other stories (Alternate, Dinner for Three, and Todd Allison and the Petunia Violet) and you've always had an incredible knack for facial expressions, and as with your later work, hand gestures and body movement and I think this piece of work is the embodiment of your ability and development, so great job. The narrative style you used from Madoka's perspective fits in incredibly well with the plotline, and it really compliments his external dialogues, where he's generally cheery and a cutie little chap, but his inner turmoil proves he always has other things he doesn't say and is darker then he projects.
Also, Atsushi in himself is a work of art. His expressions to his attitude to the things he says is *screams savagely* Although he's presented as the older brother who has his himself together and is clever with his hipster shit haircut and every modeling pose he makes in the entire damn series, you revealed bit by bit that it's Atsushi who's a mess and is insecure and Madoka who will relieve and clean up (starting from that little height difference I NOTICED AND I LOVE THAT MADOKA IS TALLER ALSO EVERY TIME MADOKA GRINS AND ATSUSHI GRIMACES MY SOUL WAKES UP A LITTLE).
The dreams were amazing. The change in style from panel by panel to full on pages with a center focus in each one, usually blurring out anything else to really emphasize on a detail was just incredible.
aNYWAyyy thanks for the great work Nozmo I really enjoyed it and if you ever do more work with these two (because it's okay if you stop the story ends well but they are nice characters so they have a lot of potential idk maybe you could show the dynamic with the parents?) you can guarantee that flaming armpits wouldn't keep me from it
k byeee~

Over already? I need more!
Everyone in the TAPV community is wondering where you are; are you okay?
Going to go post this comic in the TAPV comment section, hopefully this will answer everyone's questions!
Anyways, this was such a horrifically amazing comic; the art, colors, intensity, everything!
Just looking at the first few pages gave me a sense of uneasiness, but it started to fade away when I kept getting further into the story, up until the end, of course. I especially loved the dreams Madoka had; very ominous and dark, great way to foreshadow future events. The ending was unexpected and creepy, but that's what you were aiming for, right? After all, this is a horror comic!
Your stories are all so wonderful, why didn't I find this sooner? Wish I could read more of Sweetie, truly remarkable!

as I said in previous pages, I absolutely loved Sweetie!!!
No explanation is needed, it's perfect the way it is.
Being a sweet tooth myself, this sent a chill down my spine. Oh, the art, the characters, the setting!!
As I said before, can't wait for your next move!

Going into this, with the color scheme and imagery, it already reminded me of an Emily Carroll comic and I breifly wondered if this would go along the lines of horror, but thought, "Nah."

Boy, was I wrong. Thank you for that.

Also, I was momentarily reminded of No. 6 when Nezumi doesn't expect Shion to go rogue, but Shion does it willingly. If that makes sense.

This was a really good story, though, with great build up and suspense.

I still think they should open a bakery. It's not like Atsushi would murder rude customers and bake them into pies, right? Right?

Hello Nozmo!

Actually it's been a while since I follow you but it's the first time I comment your work. (because I never know how to express my feelings!! ghhh!)
You don't know how much I love your art and stories. This one was... amazing! I felt like you surpassed yourself. Besides that's exactly the kind of story i'm looking for. I have a weakness for disturbed characters and twisted plot >< You're trully a genius, my hero! haha!

Good job!!!

By the way, will you intend to sell it as a book?
(I hope i don't bother you with my question!)

nozmo, I hope it's okay but I was asking around where you went to and one of your observant readers linked me here... this comic was so good, but more than that I'm just glad to see you're okay and still making art... I know social media can be bad and distracting for an artist, but send me an e-mail or something sometime, okay? a lot of us from twitter have been thinking about you ;;

anyway, I loved this suspenseful and creepy story, and the connection between two estranged family members that will still go far for each other... madoka's loyalty as a little brother is both sweet and chilling...

this comic was soooo nice to read and I'm so glad to see that you're still updating and alive lol. the art is fantastic and you can tell that there's sort of an eeriness to the lighting and stylistically it all fits together. your style of drawing is very distinct and I enjoy that. I didn't expect the ending (although I did foresee the dad abusing Atsushi just because of other stories I've read with similarities) I want to add a little bit more "review" and so I also have some other notes to say. I don't understand why Atsushi would do something as insane as to chop up the father after he killed him and bake him into treats (it seems like he's scared and relatively mentally stable, plus it steals away the insanity revealed by Madoka). I think their relationship reminded me too much of the prep/goth archetype and they seemed too mature for that. BUT I know this is a one shot and you did as much as you could for developing them in the minimum page amount. this reminds me a lot of the twilight zone- I really like short stories like this where the horror element is revealed slowly, and I wish more artists out there drew short stories. overall, nice job!

Everything was magnificent about this comic, and you are such a talented author and artist. I look forward to hopefully reading one of your comics again. It makes me think just how well do you have to mask the taste of blood and meat in his cupcakes for the brother not to notice? It makes me think twice when going to a bakery next time, or actually eating any food. Your characters were simple but so unique, I fall in love with every character you make. Thank you for giving us this treat Nozmo :)
